After completing her Masters Degree in Banking & Finance Catherine began her financial career managing Japanese equity funds for Legal & General. Having built her experience of markets and investments, and been awarded Chartered Financial Analyst status, she won a place in the St James's Place Financial Adviser Academy in 2012. She subsequently qualified as a Chartered Financial Planner, and in 2022 became a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society. She was recognised by the Women in Financial Advice Awards in 2021 as ‘Retirement Planner of the Year’ for the UK. Catherine holds the CFA certificate for ESG Investing to support her belief in sustainable financial strategies a topic that is close to her heart. Outside of work Catherine and her family manage a smallholding in the Chiltern Hills.
